Where has the G.I.R.L. been?
Busy.
Yep, so busy that I've let something like seven months pass between blog entries.
I've discovered that it's very difficult for me to do different types of writing at the same time, and since the early summer, I've been incredibly focused on my fiction writing. I've been literally writing every single day - and it takes away from being able to blog, or even keep up with my own personal journal/diary.
But there have been many other projects... both geeky and not so geeky that have been happening. Like redoing my house. I now have a "Girl Cave" in my basement. It's a lot like a "Man Cave," but cleaner and more comfortable. :) I've also had to move my office from one room to another, and haven't quite got the new setup complete where I'm comfortable with it. The rest of the house is still in chaos and I hope to have it all cleaned up by the New Year.
The AI/chatbot/robot project is still in work, although it's also been slow going because of the writing. wackyrobot.com and riotsw.com are still up and active and I'll be making updates to both of those soon.
Mignogna.org is also due for an overhaul, and I've been working that since October. I need one good solid day at home to finish that up.
That's just the tip of the iceberg. I have many more geeky things planned - like setting up my home surveillance system, continuing to give significant effort to my newest chatbot (she's not public yet) with the ability that I can talk to her from anywhere in my house, and then probably the biggest project of them all: my low-tech, genetic engineering endeavor.
More on all these later... I have so many things to say about all these projects...

Go you on the writing every day. I'm in edit mode mostly :)
And, we may have to talk about a chatbot you can talk to anywhere in the house???? I'm not that much of a tech that I can program one, but I am tech enough to have been looking for an AI for a long time!
